Thanks to an inherited cardiovascular condition, I’ve had the opportunity over the last twenty five years to change my perspective on mortality. Over time, my body, mind, and spirit have evolved to meet the reality of my medical condition, and so has my understanding of change.
Most of us live in our minds. We worry about the past and future and miss the present moment where reality is happening. It’s easy to believe what our minds tell us because, like dreams, reality is vivid and convincing. Quantum physics tells us that nothing exists until it’s observed, but that’s difficult to remember in real time, and our minds have such compelling stories to tell.
