Re-orientation, meaning shifting my perspective and awareness, has changed my life and work. It’s an ongoing shift, and I don’t know exactly when it started or where it will lead, but the path is growing clearer for me the more I write. The beginning of the transformation occurred over the course of a year and a half and involved too many elements to fit in a single post, so this will be the first post in a series. The series will attempt to tell the story of re-orientation from my perspective. Eighteen months of my life when my health, spirit, and work fell apart and came together in a new formation.
